Breaking News: We Will Not Visit The West Bank

Amid increasing protesting, we have decided not to visit the West Bank tomorrow, meaning we will not set foot on Palestinian territory during this trip, although we still hope to make it to Abu Dis.

It was an extremely difficult decision for us to make. As you know, we came to Israel to see ALL sides of the Arab/Israeli conflict, and the lack of this visit will doubtlessly reduce our understanding of the situation.

However, we were told by most (not all) of our Arab Israeli and Palestinian contacts that it wouldn’t be wise for us to visit given the current situation (in the wake of Isreal’s invasion of Gaza). We trust their guidance.

Any other week, we would definitely go and enjoy the beauty of the city and its people.

Hopefully, we will get to visit in the future.
